Repeat with me: You can knit too!

It was about this time last year, well a bit earlier actually, that I looked up the Web in order to find a way to learn how to knit. Since then, I have completed 5 projects, met loads of very nice people, made new friends, learned how to cast on, knit one, purl one, rib it, bind off, sew everyhting up, use circular needles, knit and chat at the same time… Through Holly and the knitting group set up by her in Moda Cafe, Rathmines, I could do all the above! Now I have this blog. I have to say I still have loads to learn, like cables, and lace, and all the different yarns you can have, but with knitting I feel it is possible. It’s a simple, yet very satisfying way of seeing the end of a project. And, boy, was I bad in finishing stuff up. Not anymore!

At the moment, I am waiting on some yarn I have ordered from KnitHappens, very excited. Also, been considering to get new needles, perhaps a set of interchangeable ones. Will see. I’m at the non-spending end this month.
